　　日常檢查與定期維護(hù)相結(jié)合，能及時發(fā)現(xiàn)潛在故障。啟動發(fā)動機(jī)前，檢查發(fā)動機(jī)艙內(nèi)的管線連接是否牢固，有無松動、破損情況，如油管、水管的接頭處是否滲漏。啟動后聽發(fā)動機(jī)運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)聲音是否正常，有無異響，觀察儀表盤上的水溫、油壓等指示燈是否正常。作業(yè)結(jié)束后，檢查發(fā)動機(jī)表面有無油污、冷卻液滲漏痕跡，清理發(fā)動機(jī)艙內(nèi)的雜物。對于長期停放的出租壓路機(jī)，應(yīng)定期啟動發(fā)動機(jī)，讓其怠速運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)一段時間，防止部件因長期靜置而生銹粘連，同時保持電瓶電量充足。
